Tasha Nelson

Tasha has lived in Prescott since 1987. She attended Prescott Junior High, Prescott High School, and Yavapai College, where she received her Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has been an educator since 2010, and has been on staff as a teacher’s aide at Skyview School since 2015.

She has also taught children’s art classes, been a storyteller at the Peregrine Book Store, and taught yoga to kids from age 4 to 70! Tasha has had her own multi-media art exhibited at Yavapai College. Since joining the arts department at Skyview, Tasha has enjoyed fixing up the art room and working with every grade level throughout the day.

Tasha and her husband Richard have six kids, who are all grown and out of the house now. They spend their free time camping, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga and going on adventures around the amazing state of Arizona.
